Let Me Tells Yous Sump'n

I love the Real Housewives on Bravo and this past week, they debuted the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Yep. It was trash-tastic! I watched it tonight and it was good. I am not a huge fan of the housewives of NYC, and I never saw the Atlanta crew. I will always be partial to the OC...and now NJ had me at hello. I grew up with my Mom watching soaps and I never got into them, but this, I like.

Aloha!

One place I have always wanted to go is Hawaii. We have almost experienced all of the Caribbean (that we care to, at least). So sometime in the next few years, I hope we will have a chance to go to Hawaii. I saw an episode of Bridget's Sexiest Beaches the other day, and everything she did on the show looked like so much fun and right up my alley! Here is a breakdown of all the fun!

~Underwater Scooters in Honolulu
~Shark Encounter in Haleiwa
~Air Powered Hang Gliders in Haleiwa
~4WD Tour & Waterfall Hike
~Helicopter Tour in Waikoloa
~Manta Ray Night Dive in Kailua-Kona
~Tons of super yummy restaurants

Now I really have the itch to go!

Fuerza Bruta:Look Up - Still Waiting

The Fuerza Bruta Broadway show, Look Up, is still on my radar. It is branching out to Miami, so maybe it won't be long before it makes its way to Dallas. I don't know much about the show other than it looks super cool. It is described as a non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion, and kinetic aerial imagery. Click here for more video.

Mr. ChiCity

THIS is hilarious. Shannon told me about this guy on YouTube a while ago, but when I need a good pick-me-up, I just watch this. Greatness.

Britney Spears Concert Videos

I got some amazing videos of the concert. I wasn't able to get as many as I wanted, but I think I got all the best ones. I had to make some of them shorter because I didn't want to run out of room on my memory card. Also, some of the videos came out really great, but some were blury. Frank thinks it has something to do with the lighting. Anyway, I have them all uploaded to YouTube finally. Here they are!

Shannon's Visit

Shannon came to town last weekend and we had a great time. We went to Piranah's, shopping, comedy show, the Spa, dinner at Nobu, and the Britney concert! When Shannon and I arrived at The Crescent Hotel for the Spa, we ended up on an elevator with Abe Lincol and Albert Einstein. We had to get our pictures with them. When we got back on the Elevator, I said to Shannon..."So Abe Lincoln and Albert Einstein were riding in an elevator together. One looks over to the other and says..." I could't resist. It was just too funny and random. Here are some of the pics from the weekend, most from the concert. I must say I LOVE my camera. The zoom is amazing and the sound is great. I will post videos next.

Revolutionary Road - PSA for Anti-depressants

I saw Revolutionary Road last night and it was AMAZING. I really didn't know what to expect going in and I was blown away. It is a drama in every sense of the word. I am not going to give anything away or tell of the plot, but I will say that it was very authentic and true to its time period. In no way is the movie about anti-depressants or drugs, but it made me sure appreciate them. God bless modern medicine.

I Must Be A Teenager At Heart

I must be a teenager at heart...

1. Saw Twilight and liked it? - Check
2. Think main guy from Twilight is a cutie pie? - Check
3. Check Perez Hilton website regularly? - Check
4. Watched the Britney Spears interview on MTV? - Check
5. Just bought the new Britney CD? - Check
6. Bought tickets to see Britney in concert in March? - Check

I am super excited about the concert because I am going with my good friend Shannon who is coming down from Wichita to go with me!

On the Twilight crush, I do admit that when I was younger I had it bad for the cute, quiet, brooding types. Oh, and does my movie crush make me a Cougar? Meow.

Ahhh...My Reality Show Guilty Pleasures

I love me some Rock of Love and now I am loving me some Rock of Love Charm School with Sharon Osbourne. Who can resist watching a train wreck? The chicks are T-rash-y...and I love it. I am also watching the 2nd season of The Pick Up Artist. Frank actually watches this one with me. It's actually a great social experiment for guys.

Project Runway Finale - SPOILER!

So...tonight was the finale of Project Runway. I thought all 3 had some great pieces. I had at favorites out of each bunch...but after seeing Korto's line, I was 100% on her team. Her designs were beautiful in my opinion.

So let's break it down. Kinley - her black dress with the high collar was gorge, Leanne had very interesting detail in her "pleats". Her pant suit was brillz. Korto...what can I say. I loved each and every piece she showed.

The order of I would have chosen would have been:
3. Leanne
2. Kinley
1. Korto

BUT...we must move 3 to 1 and Leanne won.

Project Runway season 5 is almost over and down to it's final 4 designers...

Who are you rooting for? Korto, Kenley, Jarell, or Leanne (personally, I am loving Jarell!)

Fuerza Bruta Show

I was just reading Perez Hilton and he has a post about a show he went to in NYC called Fuerza Bruta. I watched the clip of it and it looks like a truely mind blowing experience. Perez describes the show as Cirque du Soleil meets a Rave. SHUT UP! My peeps...if the show ever comes to Dallas WE MUST GO!!!

I Heart Tim Gunn

Some of the best Tim Gunn quotes include:

"You can tell her that you've been to a different Rodeo and don't 'you know what with me', sister."

"It looks like it's a pterodactyl out of a gay Jurassic Park."

"It looks like a coffee filter or a maxi pad."

"Make it work! Carry on! Holla at 'cha boy!"

This video with Tim Gunn and Mo Rocca on the Polygamist fashion sense will never get old!

I am also looking forward to Tim Gunn's Guide To Style on Bravo!
